EXPECTATIONS

Please arrive prepared and on time for your volunteer shift.

If you have any changes to your availability please e-mail ISSSGA2@UNCG.EDU. We would like to anticipate how many volunteers we will have throughout the day.

Be willing to help out with tasks as assigned.

Your duties on the day of I-FEST may change due to different needs during the event.

Check-in and check-out for your volunteer shifts.

On the day of I-FEST please check-in at the beginning of your shift and check-out at the end of your shift at the volunteer booth.

Please be familiar with where the volunteer check-in, booth coordinator check-in, and first aid supplies are located.

Wear your nametag and lanyard

Once you check-in for your volunteer shift, you will be given a nametag on a yellow lanyard. Please wear your nametag during your active volunteer shifts, this will help identify volunteers that are on duty during the event. When you are finished with your volunteer shift, check-out and return your nametag.

Duties that all volunteers should participate in:

Directing and assisting I-FEST visitors

Picking up trash around the festival

Communicating with the volunteer booth regularly to help out with tasks as they arise

Maintain and friendly and positive attitude
